NIO leads the country in the number of battery swap stations and plans to achieve charging in every county by 2025

According to official data, NIO has built 2,517 battery swap stations and 23,348 charging piles across the country, both of which are ahead of its peers. In order to further increase car sales, especially the growth and sinking of the Ledao brand, NIO needs a denser and more reasonable energy replenishment network. Therefore, NIO launched the Charging County Connectivity Plan, which plans to complete charging county access in all provincial administrative regions across the country by June 30, 2025. In the past year, NIO has reached strategic cooperation on charging and battery swapping with eight automakers, including FAW, Changan, GAC, Geely, Chery, JAC, Lotus, and Jiyue.
