Foxconn plans to build a large AI server factory in Mexico this year

Foxconn announced plans to invest approximately $900 million to build a large artificial intelligence (AI) server factory near Guadalajara, Mexico. The factory will use Nvidia's GB200 AI chip for assembly. The project is divided into two phases, the first is to expand Foxconn's existing factory in El Salto, and then to build a new factory nearby. It is predicted that the construction of the factory will be completed within a year and is expected to begin operations at the end of this year or early 2026.
