Nvidia, Broadcom consider multi-billion dollar manufacturing contracts with Intel

According to people familiar with the matter, Nvidia and Broadcom are testing Intel's chip manufacturing capabilities, indicating that the two companies are close to deciding whether to sign a manufacturing contract worth hundreds of millions of dollars with Intel. AMD is also evaluating whether Intel's 18A (1.8nm) manufacturing process meets its needs, but it is unclear whether test chips have been sent to AMD's factories. An Intel spokesperson said that they would not comment on specific customers, but they have seen a high level of attention and participation in Intel's 18A across the chip industry.
