On March 5, the leadership team of Thales Shanghai Electric visited HiDi Intelligent Driving and had in-depth exchanges on the key technologies, safety certification and product value of the Train Autonomous Perception System (TAPS). TAPS uses multi-source heterogeneous sensor data to give trains autonomous speed measurement, positioning and obstacle detection functions, with a safety integrity level of SIL4. It does not need to rely on the train's existing information system and trackside equipment, achieving true safety redundancy and significantly improving driving safety.
