New energy vehicle battery data was tampered with and two suspects were arrested

Recently, the Jiading District Procuratorate of Shanghai filed a public prosecution against Liu Moupeng and Liu Moufei for the crime of destroying computer information systems. They privately tampered with the serial numbers of new energy vehicle batteries, allowing faulty new energy vehicles to be used normally again. This behavior seriously violated the provisions of the "Interim Measures for the Management of Recycling and Utilization of Power Batteries for New Energy Vehicles", and also affected the data on the new energy vehicle enterprise testing platform and the new energy vehicle national data supervision platform. At present, the case is still under trial.
