Schaeffler expects losses at electric car unit

On Wednesday, German machinery and auto parts maker Schaeffler gave a bleak outlook for 2025. In particular, Schaeffler expects its electric vehicle business unit to have a negative operating (before interest and taxes) margin of between -14% and -17% in 2025, reflecting the severe challenges facing the European electric vehicle market.
