Mercedes-Benz increases speed limit for Level 3 driver assistance system Drive Pilot

Mercedes-Benz has announced an upgrade to its Drive Pilot system, which allows the driver to do other things while the vehicle is in control. Mercedes-Benz has increased the speed limit for its Level 3 driver assistance system Drive Pilot to 95 km/h (59 mph), up from 60 km/h (37 mph) previously. This means that drivers can now use the feature in the right lane in free-flowing traffic, not just congested sections on motorways. Mercedes-Benz has announced plans to install a green light on its vehicles equipped with Level 3 driver assistance systems to alert other drivers that the vehicle is in Level 3 mode.
