Hesai Technology CEO Li Yifan holds a bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University and a doctorate from UIUC in the United States. He was formerly the chief engineer of Western Digital Group in the United States. Li Yifan has more than 100 patents in the fields of robotics, motion control, sensors and advanced manufacturing. Chief Scientist Sun Kai graduated from the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering of Shanghai Jiaotong University with a bachelor's degree and a doctorate from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Stanford University. He was previously a University Academic Staff Research Associate at Stanford University. CTO Xiang Shaoqing graduated from the Department of Precision Instruments and Mechanics of Tsinghua University and received a master's degree from Stanford University. He worked at Apple's headquarters in the United States, responsible for circuit system design, and at Samsung's global headquarters research center, responsible for the concept development of next-generation consumer products.
