Weilan, BASF and IOPLY cooperate to develop next-generation solid-state battery pack technology

Beijing Weilan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (WELION), BASF New Materials Co., Ltd. (BASF), and Yangtze River Delta Physics Research Center (IOPLY) recently signed a cooperation agreement in Beijing to jointly develop and apply the next generation of solid-state battery dedicated battery pack technology. The three parties will focus on the design and development of non-metallic components for the next generation of solid-state battery systems, with key areas of focus including lightweight, thermal safety management and functionality.
