Ouyang Minggao, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, predicted that battery design will move from the second generation of simulation-driven to the third generation of AI-based intelligent design technology. This technology is expected to increase battery R&D efficiency by 1 to 2 orders of magnitude and save 70% to 80% of R&D costs.
