In January 2025, the global installed capacity of power batteries reached 64.3GWh, a year-on-year increase of 25.7%. Among them, the installed capacity of Chinese companies CATL, BYD, Sinovation, Guoxuan High-tech, Honeycomb Energy, and EVE Energy totaled 43.7GWh, with a market share of 68.1%. The installed capacity of Korean companies LGES and SK On both increased, while Samsung SDI declined year-on-year. Japanese company Panasonic ranked fifth in battery installed capacity, at 2.5GWh, a slight increase of 0.3% year-on-year.
