Teradyne acquires Quantifi Photonics to enter photonic integrated circuit testing field

Teradyne announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Quantifi Photonics, a leading private company in the field of photonic integrated circuit (PIC) testing. The acquisition is expected to close in the second quarter of 2025, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Through this acquisition, Teradyne will be able to provide scalable PIC test solutions.
