Nine European countries form semiconductor alliance to boost their position in global chip market

Ministers from Belgium, Germany, Finland, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland and Spain came together to establish the Semiconductor Alliance at a meeting in Brussels on March 12. The new alliance aims to expand Europe’s position to other parts of the value chain and accelerate the marketization of technologies by furthering innovation.
