Tesla plans to launch lower-priced Model Y in China

Tesla's Chinese team is developing a new model called "E41", which will be launched at the Shanghai Super Factory in 2026. The new model remains basically unchanged in terms of battery, power and chassis, and cost control is mainly achieved by simplifying the configuration. Its price is expected to drop from the current 263,500 yuan to about 210,000 yuan.
