OpenAI plans to launch high-end AI agent products, expecting annual revenue of $4 billion

OpenAI is investing heavily in its AI product ChatGPT, with an expected annualized revenue of at least $4 billion. In addition to ChatGPT, OpenAI is also pinning its hopes on another type of AI product - Agents, artificial intelligence that can act on behalf of users. It is reported that OpenAI plans to sell low-end Agents to "high-income knowledge workers" for $2,000 per month; mid-range agents for software development may cost $10,000 per month; and high-end agents act as doctoral-level research agents, with monthly fees that may be as high as $20,000. In the long run, OpenAI expects 20% to 25% of the company's revenue to come from Agent products.
