Xinwanda builds a production base in Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor

Thailand has approved a subsidiary of China's Sunwoda Electronics to invest more than $1 billion in Thailand to produce batteries for electric vehicles and energy storage systems. Sunwoda Automotive Energy Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd. plans to build a production base in the Eastern Economic Corridor region of Thailand. The first factory will be located in Chonburi Province, Thailand, and will produce lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicle manufacturers.
