Webasto CEO suddenly resigns, new CEO takes office

Webasto, the automotive sunroof manufacturer, announced that its current CEO Dr. Holger Engelmann will leave the company at the end of this month. His contract was originally due to expire at the end of this year. Engelmann, 60, has worked diligently for Webasto for 18 years and has been with the company since 2007. He will be replaced by Jörg Buchheim, who will serve as the new chairman of the global board of directors and CEO. Buchheim has extensive experience in the transformation and restructuring of international automotive parts suppliers.
