Audi, a well-known German automaker, plans to cut about 7,500 jobs by 2029 to reduce costs and improve competitiveness. Audi CEO Gernot Durner said that the company needs to become faster, more flexible and more efficient, so it needs to make necessary personnel adjustments. As the demand for electric vehicles has not grown as expected, Audi has adjusted its original plan to eliminate fuel vehicles and decided to continue producing some fuel models after 2030 and optimize the electronic architecture of traditional fuel vehicles.
