Wayve opens new testing and R&D center in Germany

Wayve, a British autonomous driving startup, announced the establishment of a new testing and R&D center in Stuttgart, Germany, and deployed a batch of autonomous driving test vehicles. Wayve focuses on "Embodied AI" technology, which can learn and adapt to human behavior. The new center will focus on improving multiple functions including lane change assistance. After obtaining the regulatory approval required for autonomous driving testing in Germany at the end of February, Wayve has established an office in Stuttgart and started local fleet operations.
