Mercedes-Benz invests in robot maker Apptronik

Mercedes-Benz has invested tens of millions of euros in Texas-based robot maker Apptronik to use its humanoid robots for tasks such as moving parts through a production line or performing quality checks, making it the latest automaker to experiment with robots in manufacturing.
