Siemens cuts 35% of electric vehicle charging team staff

Siemens announced that it will lay off about 6,000 employees worldwide, of which 450 will come from the electric vehicle charging business, which currently employs 1,300 people, accounting for 35% of the total. In addition, Siemens will lay off 5,600 people in its factory automation business unit.
