SK Hynix began the world's first mass production of this 12-layer HBM3E chip in September last year, achieving a maximum capacity of 36GB and an operating speed of up to 9.6Gbps. If the large language model Llama 3 70b is driven by a single GPU equipped with 4 HBM3E products, a total of 70 billion parameters can be read 35 times per second.
