Tesla's European sales fall sharply, while Volkswagen's electric vehicle sales soar

From January to February 2025, Tesla's sales in the European market plummeted by 45%, with only 25,852 electric vehicles sold. Although Model Y still topped the sales list, its sales fell 53% year-on-year to 14,773 units. At the same time, Volkswagen's electric vehicle sales in the European market achieved a year-on-year growth of 182%, among which ID.4 ranked second with sales of 13,312 units, a year-on-year increase of 172%. In addition, new models such as Renault 5 E-Tech and Citroen e-C3 also entered the top ten sales list.
