Mercedes offers generous severance packages to employees

Mercedes management will reportedly send letters to all employees in April offering generous severance packages to departing employees, with the exact amount depending on factors such as salary and length of service. For example, a 55-year-old team leader with a monthly salary of around 9,000 euros and 30 years of service could receive more than 500,000 euros in severance packages. Mercedes-Benz Group plans to offer these severance packages to up to 30,000 employees who are not directly involved in production.
