SoftBank Group plans to acquire Ampere Computing Holdings LLC

SoftBank Group announced that it has reached an acquisition agreement with Ampere Computing Holdings LLC, a US server processor design company, and its shareholders to acquire all of Ampere's shares for US$6.5 billion. The transaction is expected to be completed in the second half of 2025, when Ampere will become an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of SoftBank Group.
