Toyota plans to set up first R&D center in India

According to reports, Toyota Motor Corporation plans to establish its first R&D center in India through its Indian subsidiary. The new R&D facility will be located in Bangalore, adjacent to the existing factory of Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt., a subsidiary of Toyota in India. The initial team size is about 200 people and is expected to expand to about 1,000 engineers by 2027.
