Chile's new light vehicle market suffers sales decline in February 2024

Chile's new light vehicle market saw sales fall by 6.3% year-on-year in February 2024 to just 21,044 units, the lowest since 2015. Year-to-date, cumulative sales were 46,878 units, down 1.4% year-on-year, reflecting continued sluggish market demand. In February, Toyota Hilux ranked first with a 3.1% share, while Great Wall Poer and Chery Tiggo 2 Pro Max also performed well in their respective fields.
