Nissan and Stina Recycling partner to extend electric vehicle battery life in Norway

On March 18, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and Stina Recycling signed a cooperation agreement in Norway to extend the battery life of more than 80,000 Leaf electric vehicles in Nissan's fleet in Norway. Stina Recycling diagnoses these batteries at its Ausenfjellet plant near Oslo and uses them for repair, reuse or integration into energy storage systems, extending the battery life to 10 to 15 years.
