In February, the production of narrow passenger cars reached 1.736 million units, a year-on-year increase of 40.6% and a month-on-month decrease of 17.6%. Wholesale sales reached 1.767 million units, a year-on-year increase of 36.4% and a month-on-month decrease of 15.9%. Retail sales were 1.280 million units, a year-on-year increase of 19.2% and a month-on-month decrease of 28.0%. Exports were 349,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 17.1% and a month-on-month decrease of 8.2%. The penetration rate of new energy vehicles continued to increase, with wholesale penetration reaching 46.3% and retail penetration reaching 51.3%. The market share of independent brands also increased, with wholesale market share reaching 69.8% and retail market share reaching 66.2%.
