LG Energy Solution introduces the core team of Jetway Power

LG Energy Solution, a South Korean lithium battery manufacturer, recently introduced the core team of the former Jiewei Power to enhance its competitiveness in the field of lithium iron phosphate batteries. In March this year, the first batch of about 20 former Jiewei Power employees joined LG Energy Solution's Nanjing factory, mainly responsible for research and development. LG Energy Solution also plans to introduce more former Jiewei Power employees, but the specific timetable has not yet been determined. The total number of this team is expected to be around 200, covering multiple functions such as research and development, production, and sales. LG Energy Solution declined to comment. Jiewei Power was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in Tianjin. It once had more than 1,000 employees, but is currently in a state of suspension of work and production. Chery, Great Wall Motors, Hozon New Energy and other automakers have been its lithium battery customers.
