Chery Automobile to invest $1 billion in electric car factory in Türkiye

Chinese automaker Chery Automobile plans to invest $1 billion to build an electric vehicle factory in Samsun, Turkey, with an annual production capacity of 200,000 vehicles. The factory will produce electric vehicles and their components, provide a research and development center, and is expected to create 5,000 jobs.
