Great Wall Motors launches Hi4-G hybrid technology to enter the heavy truck market

Great Wall Motors recently released the Hi4-G commercial vehicle hybrid system and demonstrated its heavy-duty trucks. Hi4-G technology is based on Hi4 technology and is designed for long-distance trunk logistics. The technology uses a 13.0L Cummins diesel engine and two electric motors with a maximum power of 360kw. In addition, Hi4-G is also equipped with a unique 8-speed intelligent hybrid transmission, which can achieve a variety of driving modes according to different working conditions. According to tests, the fuel consumption of Hi4-G heavy trucks on plain highway sections is 3-4L lower than that of traditional diesel heavy trucks, and the fuel consumption of cold chain transportation in mountainous areas has been reduced by more than 30%.
