Renault's electric car unit Ampere appoints new CEO

According to reports, Ampere, the electric vehicle business unit of French automaker Renault Group, announced that its chief operating officer Josep Maria Recasens will replace Renault Group CEO Luca de Meo as Ampere's CEO. Maria Ollier joined Renault Group from Faurecia in 2024 and will serve as head of human resources; Sandra Gomez, head of product planning and software, will have her responsibilities expanded to strategy; Vittorio d'Arienzo, head of platform strategy, will also have his responsibilities expanded to become global product head.
