SAIC Group President Jia Jianxu responds to cooperation with Huawei

In a recent media interview, Jia Jianxu, president of SAIC Group, responded for the first time to the "car company soul theory" proposed by Chen Hong, the former chairman of SAIC Group, and the refusal to cooperate with Huawei. Jia Jianxu said that before deciding to cooperate with Huawei, he had visited Chen Hong and revealed his intention to cooperate. Chen Hong expressed his support and asked Jia Jianxu whether the opportunity to cooperate with Huawei was still there. Chen Hong explained that he refused to cooperate with Huawei earlier in order to allow SAIC to establish a new electronic and electrical architecture and ensure that it had its own set of technologies before cooperating with Huawei.
