Beijing Benz recalls some domestically produced EQA and EQB vehicles

Starting from April 16, 2025, Beijing Benz will recall some domestically produced EQA and EQB vehicles with production dates between April 2021 and October 2023, totaling 12,308 vehicles. The reason for the recall is that the fluctuation of the high-voltage battery production process has led to a decrease in battery reliability, and the control strategy of the existing battery management system software may cause these battery cells to bear excessive loads, increase the risk of internal short circuits, and may cause vehicle fire accidents, posing a safety hazard.
