Nvidia founder Jensen Huang said in a recent question-and-answer session that next-generation process technology that relies on gate-all-around (GAA) transistors could give the company’s processors a 20% performance boost. However, the most significant improvements in Nvidia GPUs come from the company's architectural and software innovations. When asked about future generations of Nvidia GPU architectures, such as Feynman, which is expected to launch in 2028, Huang mentioned that if Nvidia transitions to a process technology that relies on GAA transistors, it should bring a 20% performance boost.
