Wärtsilä Energy business divestiture

Wärtsilä, a world-renowned energy company, announced on March 31 that its energy business has been officially divided into two independent reporting units, energy and energy storage, and each has set new financial targets. Although Wärtsilä had planned to sell its energy storage business unit at the end of 2023, in 2024, the company did not abandon the business, but instead launched a new generation of energy storage systems and energy storage EMS products, and won the world's largest battery energy storage project order in Australia.
