Great Wall Motors and Baowu Magnesium Industry signed a cooperation agreement

On March 28, 2025, Great Wall Motors and Baowu Magnesium signed a cooperation framework agreement at the Great Wall Haval Technology Center and jointly unveiled the "Joint Laboratory for Magnesium Product Development". The two parties will deepen cooperation and focus on the application of magnesium alloy lightweight technology in body, power and chassis. Great Wall Motors, together with Baowu Magnesium, a global leader in magnesium alloy materials, successfully trial-produced the world's first semi-solid injection molded magnesium alloy shock tower, which is about 10% lighter than cast aluminum parts.
