Jaguar Land Rover suspends UK-made car exports to US over tariffs

Due to President Trump's 25% tariff on cars, British automotive company Jaguar Land Rover has decided to suspend exports of cars manufactured in the UK to the United States for one month to explore how to mitigate the impact of tariffs on costs. Jaguar Land Rover has 38,000 employees in the UK, and the United States is its largest single market, exporting nearly 100,000 cars to it each year, accounting for a quarter of its global sales. This policy could have a significant impact on the British automotive industry, threatening up to 25,000 jobs.
