Israeli semiconductor company Valens Semiconductor announced that their VA7000 MIPI A-PHY chipset will provide sensor-to-computing unit connectivity support for Mobileye EyeQ6 advanced autonomous driving system. The chipset has a data transmission rate of 18Gbps per channel and strong anti-interference ability, which will help EyeQ6 achieve the real-time decision-making requirements of L4 autonomous driving. This cooperation marks the full implementation of the MIPI A-PHY standard in the automotive industry, and has become a key technology for global automakers and Mobileye to jointly promote the mass production of autonomous driving.
