China's energy storage market enters the 0.4 yuan/Wh era

In March this year, China's energy storage market ushered in new changes. Both large-scale and industrial and commercial energy storage have entered the 0.4 yuan/Wh era, triggering a new round of price wars. In the procurement of 6GWh energy storage systems by China Huadian Group, nine companies including CRRC Zhuzhou Institute, Electric Times, and Sungrow Power Supply offered system quotations of 0.458 yuan to 0.486 yuan/Wh. In the new Fengguang 2GWh energy storage project, the 10 companies in the first bid section of the 1GWh DC side system offered quotations ranging from 0.369 yuan to 0.430 yuan/Wh, and the average system quotation was 0.393 yuan/Wh.
