Toyota announces expansion of electric vehicle production line and global layout

Toyota Motor Corporation recently announced its electric vehicle development plan, planning to independently develop about 15 electric vehicle models by 2027 and establish production bases around the world, including Japan, China, America and Southeast Asia. Toyota's goal is to increase electric vehicle production to about 1 million by 2027, seven times the production in 2024.
