Infineon Technologies plans to acquire Marvell Technology's automotive Ethernet business for $2.5 billion

German chip company Infineon Technologies announced plans to acquire Marvell Technology's automotive Ethernet business for approximately $2.5 billion in cash to expand its microcontroller division. The business is expected to generate revenue of $225 million to $250 million in 2025, with a gross margin of nearly 60%.
