Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle sales plummet 21% globally

Mercedes-Benz also suffered a severe blow in the commercial vehicle sector. Global sales plummeted by 21% to 82,900 vehicles. Among them, sales in the United States were halved by 52% to only 7,700 vehicles; sales in China plummeted by 39%; and sales in Europe decreased by 14%. Only sales of private vans achieved a small increase, but this was not enough to save the decline of the entire commercial vehicle department.
