Micron Technology will impose surcharges on some storage products starting April 9

According to people familiar with the matter, US memory chip maker Micron Technology plans to impose surcharges on some products from April 9 in response to US President Donald Trump's new tariffs. Micron Technology's overseas manufacturing bases are mainly located in Asia, including mainland China, Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore. Although Trump recently announced exemptions for semiconductor products, the tariffs apply to storage modules and solid-state drives (SSDs).
