SK Inc., the holding company of South Korea's SK Group, is in talks with South Korean buyout firm Hahn & Co. to sell its sole silicon wafer maker, SK Siltron Co., for about 3 trillion won ($2 billion), according to investment banking sources. The deal is part of a series of asset sales by SK Group aimed at reducing debt accumulated during its expansion spree since 2019. SK Inc. plans to sell 70.6% of SK Siltron, valuing the unit at about 5 trillion won.
