UK car market sales hit record high in March

According to data, the number of new car registrations in the UK reached 357,103 in March 2025, a year-on-year increase of 12.4%, setting a record high for March since 2019. Among them, sales of electric vehicles (BEV) surged 43.2% to 69,313 units, and market share rose to 19.4%. In addition, Chinese brands also performed particularly well in the UK market. For example, MG and BYD both achieved significant sales growth.
