Scania acquires Northvolt heavy industry unit

Scania, the truck maker owned by Volkswagen Group, announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire the heavy industrial battery pack production unit of bankrupt Swedish battery maker Northvolt. The specific transaction amount was not disclosed.
