Xpeng Motors has started the development of crowd-source mapping technology internally, which may serve as a supplementary solution for its L3 full-scenario autonomous driving. Crowd-source mapping is a technology that optimizes intelligent driving solutions by collecting road data from vehicles and building a navigation map in real time. Xpeng Motors' next plan is to embed the collection and return of crowd-source mapping data in some models and achieve this goal through OTA.
