SK Hynix increases capital expenditure due to surging market demand

Due to the rapid growth in demand for high-bandwidth memory (HBM), South Korean memory chip maker SK Hynix announced that its capital expenditure plan for 2024 will increase significantly by about 30%. The original planned annual capital expenditure of 22 trillion won has now been raised to 29 trillion won to speed up the construction of related facilities.
